Entry is refused if the traveler is the subject of a Schengen Information System (SIS) alert for refusal of entry, or is assessed as a threat to public policy, internal security, public health, or the international relations of a Schengen member state; there is no fixed sentence threshold, rehabilitation period, or waiver process under this regulation.
